"We are excited about the strong pool of attendees and companies registered for this yearŐs event, in addition to announcing what the future holds for this venture conference in Atlanta." More than 100 registered investors represent institutions from across North America, including California, Massachusetts, Illinois, Florida and Ontario, Canada. Some VC firms committed to attend include: AT&T Private Market Investments, Atrium Capital, Aurora Funds, Baird Venture Partners, Battery Ventures, Columbia Capital, Frontier Capital, FTVentures, Harbert Venture Partners, Highland Capital Partners, Intersouth Partners, JMI Equity, New World Ventures, OpenView Venture Partners, Southeast Interactive Technology Funds, US Venture Partners and Wakefield Group. These two events will comprise the "investor only" portion of the Forum. Highlights of the sixth annual ION Venture Forum include a keynote speech presented by Sun Microsystems chairman and co-founder, Scott McNeely, a panel discussion with a number of GeorgiaŐs top CIOs and, of course, presentations from 12 of GeorgiaŐs most promising emerging technology companies.
